I would say just hold off for now and save for the actual supercharger. A big MAF and injectors are not gonna give you much more power (if any) over the stock ones...unless that is you have forced induction. If you are anxious to buy something, you could get the fuel pump and install that, but...
Has to be sewn (sp) in...cost me 250 for window, 250 for a good install....too much bass :D
I had the top down, and I was jammin with the bass up...and well, the sub was a little to close to the window I guess....that was a fun day....
So, okay I am confused it sounds like maybe you are not getting fuel into those cylinders, like maybe an injector or ecu/wiring problem...thats if I understand the situation correct.
When I installed my O/R midpipe I ran around town without any mufflers for a while, let me just say it was way too loud for me. It sounded mean as hell, but not worth the daily headache for me.
Can someone run this one for me, I need a new winter car and this is looking tempting ... 2hgeh2357nh534022
If you could email it to [email protected] I would appreciate it. Thanks in advance.
If you pull out those push in plastic screws it will totally mess them up. They are meant to be one time use, trust me. I tried taking mine off that way once, big mistake, now the screws dont push in right. Take off the whole pillar, its just like 3 friction clips I think...was in my vert at...
Yeah, I dont think anyone wants my nitrous installed vert with a 6 point rollbar, no back seat, and a loud catless exhaust. Anything will sell better stock unless its a power adder like a turbo or supercharger, they can demand more money for their cars I would assume
Good luck, get the head chaning kit from steeda or something, then you know its the right one. And when you have the heads off get that plug situation taken care of. Too bad you have to take it all apart again. It should be easy the second time around though now that you know where everything...
its not a bad install at all if you have the right tools. First ratchet I bought was 1 month prior to the PI swap, so I had literally zero experience working on cars and mine turned out perfect. PM me if you need details on what tools you need, etc, but those two links are a great start
Who did your install? If the head wasnt on the block right, I dont think the thing would even start...Try to solve one problem at a time here. Is it water/coolant and oil that is coming out of the car or what? Concentrate on the oil leak first, get a new set of plugs and install them in the...
Good luck man, when I did the swap I didnt tighten the one plug enough and so it was leaking kinda bad. Well, if you want to put those plugs in while the heads are on the car, you need to first off, find a set of plugs. I think you can get them new at seanhylandmotorsport.com. Then you will...
I just love that picture. If you really dont care about the engine and plan on selling the car or buying a new engine, then do it. Oh, but take a video camera and post the results, i have never heard a rod actually snap...so it will be cool to hear.
In all seriousness, I wouldnt do it...
I dont know...your cam and heads suck as of right now. I was thinking about porting my NPI heads and just getting a new cam and intake, but for the price its silly. Its much more cost effective to get the PI heads with the PI cams in them already. If you really want the cammed sound, then...
the headers are not gonna do much for you anyway...but for sure it sounds like the cam is too much without a custom tune cause you are for sure losing some power somewhere...
