    I ordered tires for my truck a while back. Bought 4 steel rims to go with the tires, cost was $860, free shipping if you got the rims. Local shop wanted almost $200 per tire plus mounting/balancing. The tires were great, not seconds.

    Funny you mention this today, I was cleaning the car and did the cup holders. During the process I thought that the bottom felt loose??? And low and behold the bottom comes out, cool.

    I have noticed this on my 04 F150. At the end of a long grade is really bad, very slow to resond at bottom of hill and maintain the speed setpoint. It is really annoying if there is a hill going up at the bottom, can lose 5-10 mph. As for the Mustang I have not experienced the problem...

    What do you mean by backfire? What can happen if you engage at too low RPM or if you hit the rev limiter?

    I would disconnect the battery, turn the car to the on position to verify that no power is being stored. After that you can do pretty much what you want as the air bag cant deploy without power.
