    Help...Post Fuel Pump Replacement Issues

Fair enough, that makes sense, but still seems strange that if it is the FPR why does the cutting out only occur after a mile no matter how I drive the car (hard or easy).

    Help...Post Fuel Pump Replacement Issues

Unfortunately I can't put the old pump back in as it was completely dead. I have mastered pulling the tank so what the hell! I might as well get another new pump and give that a try.

    Help...Post Fuel Pump Replacement Issues

If I am losing pressure at the schrader valve then is it safe to assume that the FPR isn't the issue?

    Help...Post Fuel Pump Replacement Issues

Are there any sensors that would cause the fuel pump to cut back how much fuel is being supplied to the engine? I replaced the fuel filter again thinking that maybe it got gunked up but to no avail. I am at a loss here and don't know what to do next. I have had the entire fuel system apart...

    Help...Post Fuel Pump Replacement Issues

Okay, got a fuel pressure gauge on teh car and when I turn the key to on it primes up to 40psi. I start the car and it idles around 38-40psi. Run the car a mile down the road and it adjusts itself accordingly to keep aroun 35-40 psi when on the throttle hard. I turn around and make the return...

    Help...Post Fuel Pump Replacement Issues

Alright I decided to replace the pump, on my 86 GT, even though it found new life. Pulled the tank, replaced pump, new filter, and I put all back together and now it runs like 'colorful language removed'. I start it up and it appears to idle smooth at around 600-800 RPM. I give it throttle...

    93 mustang hatch SUPERCHARGER????

I have been curious about a blower myself on a 2.3, and if I can get a huffer for a decent price I may play around with the idea but as mentioned above a turbo is easy and readily available and easily upgradeable.

Go buy the new Muscle Mustang & Fast Ford magazine...SVO Dyno test...

It isn't that there was a shortage of lenses. It was that there were so few companies producing the new aero lenses in 83. Producing them for the SVO would have meant stopping production on the lenses for the lincoln.

    I got my car back!!!!!

I agree, I am thinking about pulling the wing off of my '86 now!

    50oz or 28oz??

I don't think you can tell the difference by sight. The key to remember is that if the engine is stock it will use a 50oz counter weight flywheel.

    Cooling system hoses

Anyone have pictures of how the Cooling hoses are supposed to be run on the Turbo cars. Mine has red heater hose running everywhere and I can't imagine there not being a prefabbed hose for this. Thanks.

    Oil Return Line problems.

I cleaned out the engine with degreaser, let it dry, and had my buddy start it while I put some light on the situation and little to my amazement the oil sending unit started leaking out the top where the plug connects. Out of curiousity I called the guy I bought it from to ask if he knew...

    Oil Return Line problems.

Hi all, if you have been reading the 2.3 forum you probably know that I just got an 83 Turbo GT. Well I pulled it off the trailer and discovered that oil was leaking from somewhere so I look where the oil pressure sensor is and the oil is just running down the side of the engine. This looks...

    1984 Mustang

Actually it is a 1983 not a 1984 as I was told prior to buying. I got such a great deal because oil is just dumping out of the head right where the turbo oil return line goes. Oh well I guess you win some and you lose some. Then again considering that it is 1 of 556 1983 Turbo Gts and 1 of 81...

    1984 Mustang

I bought it, well half of it anyhow. I will finish paying for it tomorrow and it will be home Friday morning. All original, 103k miles, garage kept Mustang GT Turbo. I didn't check the paint code but I think it is the lighter of the 2 available maroon colors for the year. I feel like a kid...
