    You can't get rid of it. With the resistor mod, you simply trick it. The resistor is in the air tube right behind the MAF. It's that jack that plugs into the black tube. Guys at the track pull that plug and install a resistor to fool the computer into thinking it's actually colder outside...

    It's good that your doing it right the first time out. Long tubes are the only way to go. I've seen give next to nothing.

    Maybe the engine is heat soaked. In the morning, my car flys. After I park it for an hour, then drive it, it feels slower. I know we have some sensor in the or close to the the MAF that pulls timing, Maybe thats it. Rememeber the "resistor mod".

    Check first to see if your car only requires 5 litres of oil. Since it's a '97 it may only be 5 litres. My '00 GT takes 4.75 litres. The newer GT's take close to 6 litres. Also, after doing a oil anaylis on my car, they quickly determined that my car had a K&N filter, so extended drain...

    This hum sound is something thats been listed on the boards before. I have the same problem. My car is a 2000GT. I think its the water pump, but others say it isn't. I've tried for 2 years to figure it out to no avail. Oh well.

    What would give me more hp: The Magnaflow X-pipe or the Magnaflow cat-back? I will eventually do both, however, I'm curious as to what kind of dyno gains can I expect from the x-pipe.

    I believe that the block is the same. The difference is in the pistons. If they use new pistions with your original heads, you will get a compression drop. If you get the PI Heads, you will be at 9.0 -9.4 to 1 compression.

    I'd go with this advise. Hell, some forged internals and a KB might be cheaper than a 351 swap. You'll get more power too.

    The answer is simple. If you wanted maximun performance, you had to buy a Cobra, which was rated at 305hp. If i remember correctly, it was a faster car than all the LT1 Camaros and TA's.

    wobbly rear suspension

    Unfortunately, its called Ford Quality. My car did that too, I took it back to the Dealer and now it does it a little less than before. Someone recommended the Steeda rear swaybar to correct this problem.
