    Winter Storage

:rlaugh: This comes up every year and I laugh every year. I pull my car itneh garage, unhook the battery, put moth balls in the trunk interior and engine compartment (fresh new ones every year), put the cover on it and close the door behind me. Mice only take moth balls after they lose...

Can't find bread box intake for TFS 351.

Unless you find one used, you most likely aren't going to find one under $500.

Can you sell a car in another state w/o a title?

If you can prove the history of how you got the car, how long you have owned it, etc... you should be able to file for a lost title with the State. Not hard, just gotta get all the documentation the State needs. Fill out the forms and wait a bit.

    Different Cam More HP?

Not true. But there are better cams for your combo than the B303. If you are gonna spend the money a custom made cam might be what you want. FTI makes custom cams for like $350 I think. Almost any cam worth buyign will cost about $250 or more. I'd be worth the extra $100 IMO.

    C-4 or Powerglide

What kind of RPMS do you run? Power level sounds like 'glide territory for hte weight of a stripped Mustang.

    how long do t-5's last?

I really believe that traction has as much or more to do with a failed T5 as power does. If you have enough traction it puts a big load on the drive train. Add that to enough power (the definition of "enough" varies greatly) and you could have a T5 problem.

    sigle stage paint questions?

Basecoat/clearcoat is better IMO. It looks nicer longer and if you want to have it buffed at somepoint to revive it you can. It's more tolerant of environmental attacks (acid rain, bird crap, etc...). It also has more visual depth in the color.

    how long do t-5's last?

If driven normally and not abused you can see 250,000 or more miles of service. Some guys can break one in a couple days. Some can run them hard for years. I have probably 150-200 full on strip passes on mine with probably 10 times that abuse on the streets. Mine is holding up A-OK. They...

    Fire!!!

My brother had this on his '67 F100. let off the gas, pump the choke (who here knows what that is?:D ) a couple times, hit the gas and wait a second and flip the switch. Time it just right and you're rewarded with a LOUD BOOM and big fire balls shooting out the back of the truck. His was...

    327/331 Question - Clearencing Needed?

I was thinking about doing a 331 with i-beam rods to save money. I have no plans to juice or boost the engine so I-beams are plenty strong enough. Eagle says their I-beam rods are good for like 600 hp. My goal would be only 400 or so at the crank tops.

    24mm or 50mm? Pics please?

I am not a fan of offset. It is not much use when changin to different width wheels. To figure out the difference, you need a calculator. But inthis case you can get pretty close in your head. Offset is the difference between the center of the wheel and where the hub and the wheel bolt...
