    Hey Rock, where are you stationed? I'm at Ramstein and they show the US equivalent octane rating. We're showing 86.8, 90, and 93. Can't remember what the Euro rating is. Or are you using pumps on the economy? I'm getting ready to get the C&L and XCAL 2 from Doug.

    I'm planning on keeping the car indefinately, so although my $1500 paid for 4/49 it is well worth my piece of mind for the additional 4 years. One new tranny after 36 months will surpass that. Will it happen? Probably not, but at least I know that for 7 years I don't have to worry about it...

    Ford discontinued this option around Mar 05 or earlier. In the 05, depending on when it was built, it's possible to go to a dealership and have the option turned on in the computer. It has definately been taken out in the 06.

    High-pitched wind buffeting sound outside my driver door?

    I get that high pitched sound when going over 85mph, but it sounds like it's coming from the front middle. Sort off like through the a/c ducts. I'll probably look for it once it gets warm. I don't hear anything from the windows or doors.

    I don't get it. Doesn't the driver initiate the turn signal? Why do I need the mirror to show me which way I'm turning? I've seen the ones integrated in the mirror housing, but IMO they don't go well on a Stang.

    Can't get off of 15.8 MPG. Two lane road to work 20 mi round trip. Hwy driving doesn't count since I avg 115MPH from one side of the city to the other and 135MPH outside the city. Kinda throws MPG out the window, ya know? :D
