    Interested in a Cobra

    I like the 93 better because you don't see that many around. My 97 gets lost in the crowd. The 93 doesn't so much, it turns a lot of heads and I get thumbs up :nice: all the time. IMO, I have more fun with the 93 than the 97.

    '01 vs. '03 Cobra

    Right now you could pretty much get a left over 03, brand new with zero miles from the dealer for under 28K. I went last week and I could of had an 04 Coupe for $29K or a left over 03 for $27K. These are offers they made me, if I go back and wheel and deal them I could probably get them for less.

    I think the point is that, do what ever you want to your car, just don't go around talking smack, saying its something its not. You see it all to often, someone puts the badges on and they think they have a Cobra. Enjoy the badges, but if someone asks if its a real Cobra, don't argue with them...

    Another one, damn you. I had the okay from the wife and all to trade my 97 in on an 04 red vert. Bought we needed a new family truckster, an 04 Passat Wagon, nice car V6, AWD, but no 04 Cobra for me. I did get to keep the 93 and 97 and everything else I own.

    Definately a nice looking car. I think that he honestly think it is a real Cobra. I gave him the SVT number, so hopefully he will call. He said he would be there again on Thursday at the deli, so I'll see what he says then.

    How do you know if you need new shocks?

    Yeah, its probably about time for shocks. Best way to tell is when you hit a bump and car hops around. So far, my shocks on both my Cobras have held up. Althought the 93 have only 40K mi and the 97 has 22K.
