    Belt and exh. Should be worth a 1/10th or 2/10th off. Gears and a shift kit will pick up about the same. I say about 3/10th's in the 1/4 and some more mph

    You can do it if you get the 60' down, 2.00 or better and your there. With a 2.33 you must have spun tire. It looks like it right there just work on getting off the line better

    I am pretty sure the 1985 GT 5-SPEED had an 8.8 in it, for a drag car get any 8X-93 4 or 6 cyl. car most the time there stright and cheep and you can find them in good shape sometimes with good paint and to do it cheep you can get C-4 AND 8.8 at junk yards pretty cheep. gut car i mean gut it...

    C4 tranny swap.

    in my 95 i had to add a new tranny mount and i have a lakewood shield so i had to use a hammer to get it ti fit right . Youll need a shifter of course and a cable, and a cooler. Also check your drive shaft i have an aftermarket k member and need to take a little off but it should fit

    I was running open comp that weekend, When she's all tuned up i hope to get some low 10's NA. This motor will really wake up when its sprayed as everything is set up for spray but that will come soon
