Primer on the body is 95% prepped. Doors and hatch have been removed. Also test fit the recaros. Still can’t believe how supportive and comfortable these are. Engine, transmission and k-member should get removed today. Planning on some detail work while the engine bay is empty. Will...

No major progress, but some important updates. The body is in primer, which means everything is now in primer. Just have to prep and then spray color and clear. Speaking of color, I have decided on a color change, but’s not the Jeep red on the grill I painted. I won’t name the color...

Educate me a little. What do those mean and what’s the difference?

More pics of the jeep red. The more I think about it, with the money and time involved for a re spray period, it would be hard not to change colors.

Then turned my attention to the hood and fenders and the rear bumper that still needed some more work. Filled the antenna holes on the pass side fender. Prepped everything and shot some more primer. All prieces are now in primer. Then finished stripping the body. Removed the door molding...

Haven’t updated my progress in a while. Was busy over the holidays. Finally making progress after a time consuming mistake. Went to spray primer on the cobra kit and made what I’ve read is a common mistake. 1st coat went on great. Had some trouble with the 2nd coat. It just wasn’t spraying...

" Ooh F**k!, Ooh s**t! The universal words heard behind the camera.

Watched a couple of those vids. The one dude who is laughing, while everyone else is oh **** oh ****, cracks me up. Some of those idiots are hitting the gas at the very start of a turn. What do they expect will happen!

Trim black is down. Had some issues on the cowl and door handles. Had a few odd spots show up on the first coat. I tried to cover them with additional coats but they still showed through. All the other parts came out great. Don’t really know what happened. I think it’s just the nature...

Current state of the garage. So nice to see both cars back in! Finally started on the 89. Removed all trim (window, cowl, locks, door handles, tail lights). Hoping to shoot these in trim black tomorrow night. Then remove cobra kit pieces and try to have them in primer by the weekend...

The room is done! At least enough to move the furniture in. I have a garage bay back again! Installed new ceiling fans Painted and installed all the remaining baseboard and door trim. And set everything up after moving furniture.

IMHO, nothing. I daily drove mine with deleted EGR for 5 years. Saw no decrease in gas mileage. Also, in my opinion, by far the biggest benefit is no longer having the intake track full of carbon and soot.

Brakes O.k. Two weeks ago i started cobra brake swap on my 93 lx.

Ditto to what was said above. Excessive toe out will make the steering very sensitive to movements away from center. You'll probably need a full alignment as camber probably also changed when you installed the 5 lug spindles.

    Unknown connector

Need some additional info. Definitely not a fox body, wiper motor on pass side. What car? Engine? That is definitely an SN-95 harness.

I’d contact Ed. It’s a custom cam for your combo. He’s probably done 100’s if not 1000’s of 5.0 cams. He’ll know if something is amiss.

Hit some major milestones on the room. Crown molding is up. All the trim has been caulked and touched up. Had to resize the hvac registers to clear the crown molding. Made a frame out of 1/4” plywood to cover and seal the duct. And the flooring is down! It’s vinyl plank. Snaps...

    Drivetrain Weird clutch disengagement issue

This. Only clutch cables I would trust are Ford OEM or Maximum Motorsports.

Engine Started and ran for 10 seconds now won’t start

If you're sure about this, that raises a lot of questions in my mind. For starters, that trick flow cam most likely uses the HO firing order. I'd also question which harness and computer are being used (not HO) as the injector firing order should match the cam firing order.

Something I forgot to to mention about the 5.0 I installed (out of the 89). It has burned a significant amount of oil ever since I installed the AFR heads (back in 2006). I chalked it up to either having a tired short block or having an earlier version of the heads which had known valve guide...

Some more cars. One of the better Eleanor’s I’ve seen. Really like the blue paint. Kenne Bell’d Coyote. Probably makes some silly power. Speaking of cars. You’ll see everything from junkers, rat rods, patina cars with modern drive trains, beautiful restorations to wild high dollar...
