I have had this noise going on for over 2 months and i just cant figure it out. Whenever i leave from a stop, you can hear a popping noise in the rear suspension and it usually pops 3 times, and then when i shift to second you can hear it again, most of the time it happens when im turning...
This happens to my car also. I just installed new ball joints, and lowering springs, and now the popping occurs more often and louder, it happens while turning sometimes, and almost always while taking off from a stop. What could it be?
I thought about it a little, and i decided to go ahead and buy a set of 01 pi cams instead of the 99. I found them on craigslist for $75, comes with the 10mm bolts and gears....only 10k miles on the also. Now the install should be a lot simpler lol
Thanks guys, the reason i ask is because i scored the 99 pi cams with the sprocket for only $20. My buddy is putting a pair of comp cams in his 99 so he sold me the old ones. So for $20 i think a full days work is worth it. Do you think i would be fine just setting it at TDC?
Hows this project going?.....I wish i had your painting/fab skills, it would save me a load of money lol.
You've done an awesome job on that engine bay man..props to you:nice:
Im in the process of trading my 1997 GT for a 1987 5.0 coupe. The owner of the car put in a solid roller cam without any modifications :nonono: instead of the hydraulic roller. Now he says it has a miss. If i were to put back a hydraulic roller cam, do you guys think it will run right?....Or is...
