How to dispose of a car

Termite wouldn't really blow it up so much as turn it into a puddle of molten slag ... which is just about as awesome, anyhow. :D I think there's a form at the DMV you can get to take your name off a vehicle and register it as junked or something along those lines. I know they have a "Notice...

How to dispose of a car

Get all Martha Stewart on it and turn the thing into a flower planter?

How to dispose of a car

+1 There's ALWAYS someone who will take a roller, no matter how crappy it is. Stick it in the FREE section, if you have to.

    WHOO!!!

Okay. It doesn't look sexy. At least not with those wheels, it doesn't. It's just another S197 on DUBS, posing with a fancy background. Not only are the wheels absurdly huge, I don't really care for that rim style, anyway. :notnice:

    WHOO!!!

These cars coming stock with 20"+ rims nowadays look like frickin' Matchbox and Hot Wheels cars. :notnice:

    Pypes V. Magnaflow help!

The OP was asking for OPINIONS on exhausts. I highly doubt that a vendor is going to offer an honest and objective opinion about their own product versus another company's product. I dunno about you, but I've never seen an exhaust company say, "Nah, our stuff doesn't sound as good as these other...

    Pypes V. Magnaflow help!

Not really. I just don't like unsolicited (and thinly veiled) advertisements/sponsor endorsements creeping into threads here. The sponsors have a forum of their own to plug their stuff, and we've got more than enough banners and ads scattered all over every single screen to click on if need be...

    Whats everyone's winter projects?

Correction: It's the END of all of YOUR projects and the START of all of HERS. :D

    3G upgrade in an 85?

You'll run a 4-gauge (or larger) from the alternator post to the battery side of the starter solenoid and the green to a switchable 12-volt source. That's it. The others get routed as shown above. It's pretty simple. :nice:

    Pypes V. Magnaflow help!

So, the Street Pros are basically Flowmaster knockoffs, and Race Pros are Magnaflow knockoffs?

    Pypes V. Magnaflow help!

So, then it's high-quality spam? Kind of like the equivalent to Captain Morgan's Private Stock? :jester:

    Pypes V. Magnaflow help!

The trick to avoiding police attention with Pypes Violators, I have found, is keeping the RPM's low and acting like you have an egg under the accelerator pedal. Shift at no higher than 2,000 RPM and no more than 1/3 throttle whenever you pass by The Man and you should be fine. As an added bonus...

    Pypes V. Magnaflow help!

I like the sound of Magnaflows a tad better than Violators because my Violators are a bit louder at idle and cruise than they should be, IMO. However, the tailpipes on the Magnaflow cat-back look like crap. If you decide to go with Magnaflow, just buy the mufflers (2.5" offset/offset) and then...

    Whats everyone's winter projects?

    1. Put more gas in tank 2. Oil Change 3. Vacuum 4. Wash/wax 5. New air freshener (if funds allow) Next year it might get a paint refresh, different mufflers, and maybe a minor upgrade or two (I'd really like a set of upper/lower control arms with battle boxes and/or an Explorer intake)...

    Another Clutch Cable Problem

Another vote for Maximum Motorsports. I have the "universal" cable on my '89 with a UPR firewall adjuster and triple-hook quad. Smooth as buttah. :nice:

Going to dyno test the "Tornado air" on a stock 5.0

On a carb'ed or CFI/TBI type motor, I could see this as MAYBE having some POTENTIAL kind of effect because it would be close enough to the actual mix point to actually do something to improve the atomization of the air/fuel mixture. But as stated, on a standard EFI multi-injector system, the air...

Qantas Airlines Quality Control - actual maintenance logs...(Very Funny)

:bs: Since when do they equip commercial airliners with weapons targeting systems? Funny ... at least it was when I first saw it way back in like '99, under the guise of supposedly "actual" maintenance logs from the UNITED STATES AIR FORCE. I've seen it re-appear periodically about...
