Storing the stang soon, any advice???

Thanks for all the ideas everyone, and thanks for the support johny. I have read the owners manual on storing the car, and as you said, I was just curious if anyone had anything they did for their cars that they thought worked better.

Storing the stang soon, any advice???

Ok, I'm 18, and will soon be going to college about 4 hours away, and I am leaving my car, just because I dont want to put the miles on it, since there still pretty low. Anyways, what do I need to do to store the car properly, for the duration of the school year. I will be bringing it back out...

    Problems with 96-98 4.6 2V Intake manifolds

Ford wont fix it. I had that happen last summer. My car is a 96 and only had about 40k on the clock. Ford said that since the recall period had expired, there was nothing that they could do. That was a quick $1000. :notnice:

    A couple problems, getting annoying

A muffler shop wont turn you away because of your catless midpipe. Since it is already on there, they had nothing to do with the cats coming off, so they cant really get in trouble for it. How much exhuast should I be able to see with o/r pipe?

    H-pipe Stock?

Yes, newer ones do. Yours is a 96 so it should have an h-pipe with 6 cats, 3 on each side. If yours is gone, I wouldnt worry. More flow and less weight. When I traded mine for the o/r x-pipe, I couldn't believe the weight difference.

    Under drive pulley

Steeda by far. They are non-piggy back style, unlike BBK or MAC, so they wont mess up your crank over time. I've had them for about 7 months and absolutely love them.

Any sugestions before installing my O/R x pipe?

1st question- I put my MAC x-pipe all together after it was on the car. It also came in two pieces. Helps you to figure out where that second pipe should be before you tighten it up. 2nd question- sorry, dont understand 3rd question- Get under there and spray some sort of WD40, or whatever...
