Well the screws that hold the fuel lines down in back might have come off. This would allow the back to lift a bit and cause the fuel to leak out.
I am not sure what size the screws are, but they are 12 Point, Maybe 5/16"?
It is probably leaking out of the top of the rail where the injector meets it. You should replace those o-rings and check that out. The fuel goes down with gravity so it owouldn't leak up through the intake.
I run the spacer and no problem (3/8")
I don't see how you consider a set of used GT40s more reliable than a set of used Trickflows. I'm willing to bet he bought those GT40s used and didn't know much about them either.
Not all used heads need to be freshened up. After examining them closely and looking for cracks or problems the...
You really have to align a car if you change the struts/ tie rods or any other suspension parts.
If the tires are wearing evenly then it was aligned when you took it apart.
It depends on how old you are!
I wish I started saving for a house earlier. Here I am 21, and saving my butt off. An extra 2700 towards a deposit goes a long way.
If you are 30 have a house or condo or whatever, I'd build the tranny.
Trickflow sells them. Make sure they are the same size as theirs. You should also put a tap through it. All the carbon buildup from the exhaust will cause it to not thread in well.
Mine went all the way in, and then you use an allen wrench to turn it.
Put a LS1 in it!
I would look into cleaning the entire system out. Fuel/ carbon off pistons and see how much you get stock. Also stick with 19lb injectors and don't put your foot down ever.
I would go with the blower!
When you pump out 300hp with the blower every part you add will net you ALOT more than you expect.
Just an intake change will be a HUGE change.
Then you do full exhaust and you breathe better.
When you finally get a decent set of heads you will love it!
I would try unplugging the battery and retrying it. You usually have to clear the codes.
Unplug the battery.
Turn on lights
Plug battery back in.
Retest.
All the $20 plug is probably just a resistor in series.
You would need custom headers.
The heads are different and there is a lack of aftermarket parts
Even if offered free, I wouldn't use it. More of a pain than I would want.
If it was a 351w it would be a different story.
Pull the pump. If you aren't using it anymore and never will put it back on just cut the bracket low enough so It will not mess anything up. Just to clean it up or buy a new bracket. The smog pipes that are on the passenger side by the header can be removed. You just have to remove the pipe that...
What strut boots did you use on them? Did you buy aftermarket or reuse the stock ones?
This is on a 94 GT, but both struts are basically the same.
Thanks!!
Had this problem once. Turned out the timing was way too low.
How low is yours set and do you have a spout connector in?
I bet when you hit the "rev limiter" it sounds like it is just taking in air.
