Duckworth and Kermit Washington owned Le Slam, over by 24 Fitness on 4th Plain in Orchards. We used to have our basketball parties there and theyd come over and sign our balls. :D
Ray, congrats on the numbers, when do you think youll take it down the strip?
I think theyre getting confused by the NW and NE sub forums. Ive clicked on NE by accident before, but knew something was wrong when I didnt recognize anything. Leave it to the east coast guys to go as far as actually posting. :D
I see, Im 4thStroke over on tech and central. I wouldnt buy a whole new carb., a lot of people stick with the FCR39 and bore it out. PM sredrum on tech, $115 for a bore job.
The oil mod is very easy to do. I did mine with a 18 volt cordless drill. The toughest part was finding a 1/32 drill...
When you rebuild the motor, put the crank from the WR in there as well. I just finished my WR/Wicked rebuild 2 rides ago. Raced Woodland and rode Washougal on saturday, my goodness does it pull hard! Dont forget about the oil mod if you have the cases apart. Main bearings ought to be replaced as...
What do you have for motor mods? If you dont have a high compression piston in there, you are wasting your money and may actually be hurting performance. I run 40% premium, 60% VP C12, but I have a CP (Wicked) 13.5:1 piston. And Im assuming you are using a leaded fuel, correct?
Premium varies some times from pump to pump. usually its 91 or 92 octane. Some places you may find 93 octane. I cant recall finding 93 in the area, I know Florida has it, Im not sure who else offers it as well. Sometimes, you wont even be able to find a rating.
Right, so when Arco gas is way cheaper than Cheveron, are you telling me that theyre the same quality? Come on, man.
Cheveron or Shell for me. Ill put something else in there only if I have to, but never Arco.
Truth be told, I didnt want to say it! Im all for the GT500. Driving one is quite the experience to someone who hasnt been around very long to experience the muscle car era.
Its a shame, the most powerful and well equiped factory Mustang ever is not enough to be proud of.
People love the Shelby, riding with my dad, people are always pulling out camera phones and snapping pictures. 500hp pushed through a live axle is enough to scare a lot of people.
They also...
Also, Im up on Larch, when we head up there to go shootin, ridin, or wheelin, there are always freshly stripped cars up there. Not sure how far you are from the Hockinson area outside of Vancouver, but checking up there might not be a bad idea.
Our 2001ish Isuzu diesel dump truck was stolen from our neighborhood one night. Turned up several days later with the stock radio stolen! Thats all they took! What else was there, honestly? Drove it from Ridgefield to 164th and Mill Plain area.
Joy ridin tweakin sons of b*tches.
They keep...
Oh yeah, much like how the Seahawks still could have won it against the Bears with time winding down but they choked? All they needed was a few more yards to put Brown in his kicking range and he failed misserably. I do not believe The Hawks could have came back to win.
Hasselbeck is not a...
I believe there is quite a big difference between the GT500 and the Mustang GT in regards to handling. Not sure what all is different, but its supposed to handle much better than a Mustang GT. I doubt Ford actually revised the geomerty of the front end, just rather springs, shocks, etc.
Ray, the only problem with that is that he might notice the higher mileage on the odomaeter, the mileage was recorded at 599. Ive already thought about it. :p
If he doesnt notice that, the big dent in the side might give it away.
If all else fails, Ill tell him it was your idea and that...
