    Rocky is right. Just go to autozone and look for a hose that will let you bypss the heater core. I thought there was a specific one made just for that but when I looked for it I never found it and had to jerry rig one. Keep in mind the top and bottom tubing are different sizes.

    I had the same problem with the spring compressors. the "internal" compressor is the one you need its for springs the "external" is for struts and wont work for you. I had to cut the bolt a lot to get it to fit in the control arm. Even then I had to work with it once the springs was in place...

    hesitation at cruising speed

    I have an 87 and one of my friends has a 86 and the other and 85. At cruise speeds we all have a surge......feels like the car just loses all power for a split second and then drives fine. All the cars do it at about 2000-3000 rpms at cruise speed. We all assume its because our old injectors...

    Anyone ever had luck with quarter window molding covers.

    I have them but dont really like them. I think I may pull them off and restore the stock one. I believe theres a post on here on how to restore the old one to look new again. Personally I'd recommend doing that. Takes more time but its cheaper and the end product looks better IMO.

    Car runs like crap

    How did you break 02 sensors when replacing tha rack? I just replaced mine sunday and got nowhere near the 02 sensors. Anyways try looking around if you managed to snag the 02 sensors it possible you snagged a vacuum line too. Seems unlikely but you never know......try checking the codes too.

    Thanks for the advice. Ill check the timing this weekend. Its possible Im wrong and the timing is set at 16* already.

    Yea I was only making 23 les hp and 11 more tq than my friend 01 bullit and 11 less hp and 19 more tq than my other friends 01 GT :nice: We are going to the track on the 25th and im going to run the 01 gt and see what happens. Should be a decent run.

    No I've read in numerous places you could bump the timing......maybe im wrong and its at 16* lol Now im curious ill have to check it when I replace the rack Sunday. The car does run good though and I have never had pinging or problems do to the timing.

    Coolant on lower intake passanger side

    Thanks for the advice. The hose does have clamps just hard to see the lower one and the upper one isnt shown in the pic. Im probably going to have to just pull the upper and check. Im just hoping this isnt an intake gasket. I dont really feel like pulling the lower intake off this weekend.

    Finding TDC on #1

    Nothing will happen but when you stab the dizzy you will still have to have the engine at TDC on the compression stroke. no getting around it i dont think.
