Keep the gears and speed up the install of the AOD. I have 4.11 with my AOD in my 65.

    Shelby drop, tire size q's.

The wheel will require spacers to clear the upper a arm in the front. You want the total backspacing for a 16x8 not to exceed 4.5 inch otherwise you will contact the a arm. 26 inch is the magic number and what you should shoot for in outer diameter. After you do the drop make sure you get it...

Slotted Mag fitment questions - Come on in Dodgestang

You are 1.5 in short on the backspacing so they will not work for you IMO. If you owned a 67 I would say put in a 65 rear if you really wanted them. But since you own a 65....you don't have many options other than narrowing the rear.

How do I hook up 600hp?

FWIW I run 620s in my 65 mustang and it idles down the track at a somewhat respectable time.

How do I hook up 600hp?

As stated previously...to run 10s you need a cage. You run faster than an 11.5 you need a 6 point bar. Putting in a 4 point bar is a wasted effort because of this. I pull 1.7 60' using 17 BFG inch drag radials and there are plenty of fast cars out there pulling faster 60s with them. If you...

How do I hook up 600hp?

You will need a full cage. If you want to use it as a street car then IMO you should run an aggressive road course style suspension to help keep you on the road when you are driving. Nothing worse than having your suspension unload on you when you are taking an exit ramp fast with a big motor...

    ride height problem

All springs are not the same even if they are advertised as such. Drive it around for a few weeks to make sure it is all settled in (like you didn't torque the lower arm when the car was still on jack stands), check to make sure one doesn't have the shelby drop on the a arms, make sure you...
