    460 turbo ???

There really is no replacement for displacement.... Sure you might get a highly modded, built, power added small block to put down the horsepower a well built N/A big block 460 can but it takes more than peak numbers, power under the curve and torque play a huge role. And in a scenario where...

    Ever raced a classic?

Well there is a lot in the approach too. Most classics are more sought after and fetch more money when restored and in stock form. And let's face it, the common classic was often outfitted with choked up exhaust, highway gears, peg leg rearends and 2bbl carbs. However one of the great things...

    2005 Roush looking MUCH better!!!

Yep, stripes are far too narrow and the gap between them seems a little too thin as well.

NOS gurus, which kit to buy?

I like the Edelbrock Performer and NOS Sniper kit as great starter nitrous systems.

    Which H-pipe should I purchase?

The ProChamber is a nice piece no doubt, but typically, an O/R H-pipe will sound louder. I switched from the ProChamber to the MAC O/R H-pipe and the exhaust note is more deep and throaty. While it seems I may have lost a little mid-range by ditching the ProChamber, I have noticed more low end...

    Flowmasters

Actually the Super 40s are a larger cased muffler as opposed to the standard 40 series 2 chamber, and the Super 40s, while 2 chambered, use the Delta design to reduce interior resonance...We sell and stock them here at Partshopper so I see them firsthand. Hollar at me if you have any more...

Best Looking Rims on '05 to Date!!!

Not sure why you took exception to the word "muscle" in regards to the Mustang? Yes it has been labeled a pony car...but in my dictionary some of the greatest and most famous Mustangs are more 'muscle' than 'pony'...Boss 351, Boss 429, Shelby GT500s, 428 Cobra Jets, Cobra R,...and the list goes...

Best Looking Rims on '05 to Date!!!

Personally I think the new 17" designed rims don't compliment the Mustang very well, seem almost Beemer-like, they just don't say 'Muscle' or 'Retro'...just my opinion. (although they do look better on the Silver & Black Mustangs than any other) I think the new Mustang needs a slightly...

    Holly, Demon or Edel?

IMO Demon>Holley>Edelbrock but for your application the Edelbrock should be just fine and they make excellent daily drivers carbs...stick with it :nice:

Are MAC Straight Shot CAI's still being cut for installation?

We were one of the first companies to get the straight shot and install it on a customer's vehicle. This install was on a 2004 GT and I can tell you that although it was a tight fit, it went in without modification. It isn't necessary to cut the tube down...

Run in with a 05 Stang GT

Don't automatic 99-04 GTs put down around 220 rwhp when stock. If that's the case then those bolt-ons are really doing the job - if they allowed your automatic to walk away from what dynos are starting to show to be ~280 RWHP 2005 5-spd GTs....and from a roll? I would have never guessed.

    exhaust on a budget

Personally, I think the 2.5" tips are outdated. While they looked decent from the factory back in the 80's, they just look puny by today's standards. I have been running a 2.5" system with 3.5" tips on my Fox for years now and I think they look just right and I have received many compliments...

    mac pro-chamber

You'll make more power in most cases with the ProChamber over a normal H pipe but I have heard that the ProCHamber is a little more quieter than an O/R H-pipe. I run the ProChamber on my 5.0L.
