    I just swapped a 5.0 into my 92 4 cyl and I brought the tilt column over with it. Bolted in, but I deleted the cruise control. Should consider that. The column plastic didn't fit, and the donor car didn't have them, so I have an ugly exposed column. I know the ignition plugs will fit fine...

    Tear it down and see how bad it is. You might be able to chain up to a tree and pull it back into shape. Doesn't look too bad from here.

    Engine Codes 18 And 96

    That is telling you the yellow/light green wire is burnt through the plastic or the plastic itself got cut/scraped and the wires inside are touching the body of the car or the engine block. Trace the wire back from the tfi towards the computer and look for cuts or burns. Repair.

    harness mismatches have caused a lot of headaches on the internet. to be sure, i swapped everything from stem to stern. the fuel pump relay is the problem, and he will have that problem going between 88 and 93

    hmm. i have the 92 4cyl body harness left over. let me research it and see if it will work with your 93 engine harness. if it will work you can have it (you pay shipping from ak, lol.) im not up on maf swaps. not sure what engine harness will work with 88 for maf swaps.
