    02 GT emissions sniffer fail

My thoughts are as follows - Move to Florida no state income tax, no emmissions control laws In addition, go back to the stock H and have the tuner adjust if you fail again. The stocker/choker will be better than the MRT 2 cat system. Good luck.

    Infamous 3.73's or 4.10 question

I wouldn't give a damn about the gas mileage; save a few dollars elsewhere. I bought my 3.73's when I lived on Long Island and had to drive in ice and snow. I can highly recommend them. 4.10's? Maybe now that I will never see snow but I do not regret the 3.73's. Gears are a #1 mod needed...

    Car got keyed..BAD!! **PICS**

I'm sorry this happened to you. It happened to me in the early 80's also. Nice car- jealous punk. Shocking thing is how often this happens and you never catch the coward(s). I hope you can get it fixed.

    Need Tire Expertise / Advice

I may have the best bang for the buck tires on my car right now. Very reasonable price and they perform pretty well.

My car spun a rod bearing

I take it the car has: '98 GT vert - blower, cams, longtubes, gears, etc. Not a stocker?

Early Happy 4th of July to SN!

Wow! My parents were wise enough to wake me and my 8 yr. old brother up about 2-3 in the morning to watch the landing & first moon walk. I can still remember it.

    New Edge vs S197

Old rule of thumb is you need about 10rwhp to overcome 100 pounds of added weight. It also dovetails with one tenth of a second in the quarter mile. It probably on works with cars under 500HP/5000LBS.

    Fuel Mileage

I get 13.5mpg. 100% pure stop and stop again driving with about 10-15 minutes monkeying around in a 7 story parking garage each day. :nice:

Ever wish you still had the stock exhaust still on?

I'm totally satisfied with the exhaust I selected. It's never too loud - unless I want it to be.

Early Happy 4th of July to SN!

On July 4th, 1960, mrvax was born in Rockville Centre, L.I. I've been rather lucky to have the 4th & my birthday coincide. Now that I'm an "old guy", it has lost it's luster. I'll be busy Friday so I just want to give a shout out to all of SN members wishing them a great 4th and a safe...

    Patriot heads installed and running.

Many headswaps show people forgetting those pesky plugs. Hope a tune cures all!

Another wonderful saturday night at the track...

It's all about traction. One member here was able to consistantly run low 12's with only 275rwhp. (Mustang92 - Bill). Granted he used slicks to do this but if you set your car up like he did, learned to drive real well, and had good D/R's you could run surprisingly low ET's. Built rear...

Another wonderful saturday night at the track...

I'd move it to talk but this does have tech in it.

how much more power can be exspected?

From a bunch of info I gathered over the years on SN, mostly about headswaps, I came to these conclusions about P&P jobs. You have to know what you are doing, you could actually decrease flow if you don't do it right. A 4.6L that is not supercharged will only see minor gains from a P&P job...

Picked up 50rwhp and 30ft lbs

Stick or auto? If auto, those are good numbers. Stick, a wee bit low.

    Can Door Dings be Removed?

Yep. Looks like the kids were using your car as target practice. Every place I park I consider a few things and then select where to end up. At work, I have no choice at all. An that is where I get most of my dings. I probably get 1 new one every 5-6 months. They add up.

    Can Door Dings be Removed?

I did order "Ding King" so I hope that works. I'll post back after I get it & try it out.

    Can Door Dings be Removed?

Thanks people! I may try that Dent-King thing. I'd like to do it myself. If I can do it, then I won't have too worry too much the next "beauty" I get. If those dents some out, my car will look pretty sweet for being 10+ years old/100k+ miles and it's been through quite a few nasty winters. It...

    haha stupid ricers

Ricers are funny people. Thank god for them though. Imagine a country full of zit-faced Facebookers driving around in powerful 8 cylinder cars like they did back in the 60's/70's, etc?
