    Well, adding the picture would have helped. Sorry, thought i did that. I found the VIN today. It has an "M" in the engine code spot. So that makes it a 351 at least. I guess i assumed that would make it a Mach along with the side scoops? thanks

    Is this an original 69 Mach? Dont have the VIN yet, but owner claims this had a 302 in it...not sure that's the original motor. I thought the Mach's had the side air scoops like this one. Should be getting door plate numbers tomorrow. thanks mike

    Kick panel Speakers - AC Vent problem?

    I have been looking at component speakers for this area as they tend to be thinner. You will only have about 1 1/4" depth with the kickpanels with 6 1/2 openings. I found a pair of speakers that are 2" deep, but would need spacers. I have used a stereo shop here in dallas to do my other vehicles...

    kick panel i too have the vintage system in my 65 vert. My kick panels have the premolded 6.5 speaker opening. Have not installed speakers not the AC duct grill as there are clearance issues with the larger speaker. I am not sure what i am going to do. May have to try to modify the dust to fit...

    power windows?

    Tim, what speaker did you use in the footwells? I have the same panels, but can't find a speaker thin enough to fit w/o cutting metal behind the speaker. BTW...nice install on the window switches. How did you cut the metal? Dremel? thanks mike

    Pics of 17X10 on 65 fastback

    this is my 65 with 18x9.5 on rear and 17x8 on front. Lowered 1"...still needs more lowering. Trying to figure out best way to do this. Fenders are not rolled nor is there any rubbing, except for the parking brake cable. Mike

    whhels I have 18x9 on the rear and 17x8 up front on my 65 GT convertible. Used a 1" lowering kit and have no problems with rubbing. Wheels were custom made by American Racing mike
