    Hey, easy now. I spend about 8 months a year in the mid east (for the last 4 years), and I dont have time to research THAT much...only reason I was gonna pay that much was cuz it was all new stuff. He had a parts list, I might try to find all the parts and see how much they are all together....

    Yeah, I did a crap load of searches last nite, and came up with a Top Loader being the best for what I want to do. www.Perogie.com has a kit for around $3000. That's everything to do it, just "install it" to the motor and go...will see...

    I use my Gov'ment issued Chem Mask. Just Put 2 inch clear tape over the areas where your eyes are, and blast away. Then, when the tape gets all pitted up, pull it off, wipe the sticky stuff off, and put new tape on. Then, when you go to turn it it, you tell them that it went thru a real bad...

    Yeah, I wanna keep it "original". At least how the T/A coupes were run back in the day. T-10 top loader is a must. Good advice, I'll try to google this stuff and go with what I have here...cmon ebay..this is gonna hit the wallet....thanks fellas

    I have done the same swap. And am trying to reverse it now...I had a 1970 351C 2V with an FMX tranny and headers. I had no probs with the headers hitting anything. Oh, and check out the classifieds under "Random 351C..." I am trying to get rid of this stuff. very cheap....maybe just pay...

    Need help with Hood clearance......

    Depends on what "look" you're going for. The old school drag racers used to put 1 inch shims between the hood springs and the hood. Old Skool cowl induction. The front of the hood remains normal, the back of the hood (near windshield) is raised an inch. Depends on how much spacer you put in...

    Idles smooth, stalls in gear

    If it has a mechanical fuel pump, try to replace it. I had a 351C that did the same exact thing, and the fuel pump was brand new. I replaced it and it ran like a champ. Just a suggestion....
