    I'm giving up

No.. not sure what style it's called. The Saginaw pump would be the best choice, but a much more difficult swap because of the braketry. Also, all of the saginaw pumps I found in the junkyard used a serpantine style pully with a shaft diameter that's different from the V-belt pully. You could...

    Power Steering Componets

You pay shipping both ways. He's the one who rebuilt my stuff (Steering box, control valve, and cylinder). Asside from it taking longer that I was told (apparently problems with that ice storm a few years ago, and family) I was very happy. Everything came back looking like new, worked...

Are all 351W balancers the same?

UPDATE: Turns out the balancer from the truck engine (guy that sold it to me says it was out of a 91 F150, but casting date code say '88) was a direct swap. Timing markers lined up, balance is right, and so is the crank pully spacing. Works perfectly.

    I'm giving up

Update: I decided to go with a PS pump from a mid 80's Ford fullsize (pickup, bronco, van, etc). Turns out that it's almost a direct bolt in. I needed to get a custom hose made at a local shop ($60). The only other mod is that the slot for the bolt that controls the pivot/belt tension...

    30 year old pic

Picture got blurry after 30 years ;) I want to say "congratulations" but that just doesn't seem appropriate. Good luck with the resto, I'm sure his family would love to see the car back in it's former glory.

    Front End Suspension Nightmare

Your going to need to get someone with some metalworking skills (and tools) to help you with that one.

    Wheel Adapter Size?

Not knowing what wheels... if they are that new, I'd say go with a 1.25" to be safe.

    Wheel Adapter Size?

Nobody will be able to give you an accurate reply unless you tell exactly which wheels you plan to use.

Fuel Gauge Sending Unit - Voltage?

If he's measuring 5.5V at the sender, the wire/connection isn't completely broken. But it could be a poor conection which would introduce a bunch of resistance to the circuit, added resistance would make the guage not work correctly.

Wiring from sending unit to guage?

Classic Mustang MAF SEFI and No Dizzy

If you don't already know: You can do this by using the MSII-extra code and modifying the MSII to have 4 ignition outputs. It would be in a wasted spark configuration tho.

RonMorris Eng Mounts, eng not level

Are you sure you have the crossmember bolted up correctly? On my '70 there were 2 different bolt holes that I could have used on the driver's side of the mount If you're using the lower one instead of the higher one, it could produce the problem you are seeing.

Classic Mustang MAF SEFI and No Dizzy

It's a coil pack setup. Pretty much the same as COP except it still uses spark plug wires. Yes, the MSII supports this. Involves the install of a EDIS module, 36-1 crank trigger wheel and VR sensor.

Classic Mustang MAF SEFI and No Dizzy

I went to a distributorless system (EDIS 8) and won't ever look back. Better accuracy, more spark energy, more reliable, etc.. lot's of advantages and if you're handy in the garage it can be cheaper than an MSD setup. I'm not worried about keeping a stock engine appearance. I focus on...

Classic Mustang MAF SEFI and No Dizzy

The man said he wanted sequential... it's not me you need to convince. The MS doesn't do sequential (yet) no matter what signals you feed it.

It's not sequential tho... he want's seq.

    30" on a Mustang..anyone?

You think it would look good on some other vehicles?

Classic Mustang MAF SEFI and No Dizzy

For true sequential AND distributorless, you'll have to go with one of the expensive stand-alone ECU's such as Big Stuff 3, FAST, etc. If you can live with batch fire, you can go with the MSII ECU for about 1/5th the cost.
