    My defrost is worthless!

    Havn't used it much, but when I did the defrost on my '70 worked pretty good. Does it have good airflow, nice and hot, etc? Prior to changing the heater core, my heat hardly worked at all. Turns out the heater box and heater core itself were completely plugged up due to mice nesting.

    Green Dot? That's a new one to me...What does that mean? If I remember correctly, the large 6cyln (240 cubic inch I think) uses the same bellhousing bolt pattern as the small block V8.

    The payoff simply isn't worth it unless your getting a motor in really good shape for nearly free. Even then it's iffy. The only reason for this swap is "to be different" but it's been done many times now already so you wouldn't even be all that different...

    Are you sure you had to start the engine, or just turn the key to the "run" position? If I remember correctly, my FMX wouldn't go past neutral unless the igniton was set to the run position, but the engine didn't actually need to be running. I believe it's an anti-theft thing.
