Prep for paint???? Pics of notches...

I got an estimate from a local body shop that comes highly recommended. I have some minor damage to my passenger door and rear quarter panel. I also have the typical dings and chips, so I had them quote out the entire car. Grand total was just over $2000, guaranteed to look like a brand new car...

    Clay Bar ?

Meguiars , then do a search for 'clay.' Or you can go with Zaino . Just be sure to follow up with a nice coat of wax, as the clay bar will be stripping off any protection you may have. :(

    Fuel Filter Replacement

Yes. This releases the springlock and you should just be able to pull the two pieces apart.

Where do I get a ball for my antenna?

I spent the $30 on the stubby antenna. Don't remember off-hand where the site is. I actually think my reception is better now. Of course, there's always this option:

My thoughts on the Steeda Quadrant Kit

I love it. :nice: Having said that, the instructions are vague, but at least they're ambiguous. Took my friend and me about 2 hours to remove the stock items and replace with the Steeda. Said friend then proceeded to adjust the firewall so that it wasn't completely engaged...

Anyone know anything about Hankook tires?

Still on the fence, eh? I keep telling you my Ventus are just fine for my daily driver. Z rated for $104/tire.

    Major rear suspension problem

Can't imagine that anything you have would cause that to happen. Guess it's never a bad idea to put it back to stock before going in though.

WHAT WOULD YOU GET TOKICO HP OR KYB AGX???

Simply for the ability to find the setting that works best for you. :nice:

WHAT WOULD YOU GET TOKICO HP OR KYB AGX???

It's under the paneling or whatever it's called, so it's a pain to get to. Most people, myself included, find a setting they're comfortable with and leave it at that. I'm a 4 all around. :D

    Steeda Tri-Ax Shifter

Tri-ax was my first mod, too. Great first mod. I'd get some sort of Permatex sealer to reseal after you put the new shifter on. Checker has it. :nice: Decent price, too.

    Fuel Filter Replacement

Actually, there are some plastic clips. However, they're just there as a backup in case the spring lock doesn't work. At least, it is this way on my 2000.

    Gear install charges?? How much?

Charges will vary depending on where you go. I've seen everything from a case of beer  on up to $1600. :bs: Averages are around $200-$500. You shouldn't need the bearing kit with only 19,000 miles. And the gear kit should come with shims and a new crush sleeve.

    Backseat Q's

In the middle of each side, just under the seat, is a small notch. I believe that by pushing on it with a screwdriver that it will release it. The seat then slides right out.

    Fuel Filter Replacement

The filter is just in front of the tank under the car. You'll need a spring lock tool which can be purchased at an auto parts store. They should also have your filter. Inside your trunk (left side, rear I believe) is a connector you need to disconnect to relieve fuel pressure. (Fuel cutoff...
