    ok i got my :uzi: quadrant installed with a firewall adjuster using the stock cable.... now the cable is tight with the FWA closed all the way, the pedal barely spins the tranny at the top of its travel...... should i stick on the adj cable that came with the kit....

    you dont want to be cheap and skimp on brakes, which is the difference from a safe stop or a slide into another car.....these cars have weak stopping capacity stock... you dont have to go to 5 lug, that just increases new wheel selection...you can get cobra style 4 lug rotors and calipers too...

    you could just swap lenses if your careful....make sure you silicone/seal the new pieces real good....you dont want water inside or someone yanking them off....

    get a boost/timing adjuster box... like a MSD BTM, so you can set advanced timing, say 12*....but when boost kicks in.. the BTM box with retard timing, say 1* timing per 1psi of boost...

    that would do it...most aftermarket 5lug setups have a big lincoln style dustcap and the wheels would either not fit or the center cap wont fit.....

    same thing happened to me, except the previous owner wired the headlights to a pole switch and a fuse to the battery...had wires everywhere.....turns out the car had the foglight problem and it burned the multifunction switch...got one at the junkyard for $14 and all is well.....
