Installation of the mac cat back system?

You need 2 tip hangers and 1 muffler hanger. Yes, you mount them in stock location.

Installation of the mac cat back system?

See my attachment: 1: long bolt that's threaded on the inside 2: L bracket 3: bolt that holds L bracket to rear bumper frame 4: bolt that holds exhaust tip to L bracket 5: Exhaust tip And yes, you need 2 muffler hangers and 2 exhaust tip hangers (metal brackets with rubber pieces with...

Installation of the mac cat back system?

Those are the tip hangers. They go into the rubber pieces that bolt onto your rear bumper frame. They hold up the exhaust tips via the L-shaped bracket, which will bolt onto the top of the exhaust tip itself. Install went fairly easy for me and my dad. Maybe about 1.5-2 hours, most of which...

Need some opinions for next mod

HFC's would be nice also, and would make exhaust tone a bit deeper. If you want performance though, you'd probably notice a bigger difference with the pulleys than you would with the cats.

Underdrive pulleys fit right in that price range.

    vandalism

Ever watch a show called Mythbusters? They did that test and found it it does nothing to the engine, other than make it less fuel efficient. If you really want to hurt him, use chlorine, but you didn't hear that from me.

    New Shoes!

Why not? A name means nothing, merely a way to call something. Update: I didn't get to wash my car today, as it's STILL raining. The next dry day will definitely be the day I'm washing it.

    New Shoes!

They aren't as shiny as chrome, but they're still shiny as hell. TireRack.com, probably too much compared to other sites ($1450), but TireRack is a respectable site, and I trust them enough to pay a bit more for. $1450 was for rims tires. The BFGs were only $119 a piece, compared to like...

    New Shoes!

I got some new shoes for my car. 17x8 1999 Polished Cobra's on some 245/45 BFGoodrich Traction T/A Pics! Unfortunately I can't put them on tonite, too much rain to hassle with, so tomorrow I will have some on-the-car shots (after I wash the car, of course).

    99 intake on a 98?

Depends on if he's talkin about the heads or the upper/lower manifolds or the intake tubing itself (before throttle body). If it's 1/2, then you need to get both new heads and a new upper and lower manifold. If it's 3, then I don't see why it wouldn't work, throttle body is an easy part to...

Are there 2 sizes of V6 engines?

    Well now there's technically 3 sizes. The '05 has a 4.0l V6.

    v6 stang rollin 20s

Gotta love newbs that bash people for their opinions. Rims - anything over 18 is too big. Air bags - why the hell would you put these on a mustang? And obviously you don't know how this forum works, otherwise you wouldn't have initiated the hate.

    Another Tire Size Question

What about what RdPonyCv said about 255s. I'm guessing those would fit, since 245s fit pretty easily, but would there be a big gap between the lip of the rim and the tire?

Need some help with rusting MAC exhaust...

Last time I checked, no one could see that freakin far up the exhaust tubing anyways. The only way to find that out is to sit under the car and unbolt the tubes, loosen the other bolts after that part since it probably won't move if you don't, and to pull them apart. If someone wants to do...

    Another Tire Size Question

All I really need is a yes or no answer. I've got the rims picked out I want, I just need to know if they'll fit. 17x9 with 275/40/17s. Will they fit on the front end of a 2002 V6 without rubbing? I'm almost positive the backs will fit fine, but since the front ones turn (duh, who would've...

    How do you increase MPG?

With the CAI alone, I got about 1.5 mpg more than I had been (low 19s). THat put me up to a little under 21. Now with my exhaust, I usually get low to mid 22. This is all city, I never really drive the highway much, but I'd estimate about 23-24.
