    I was under the impression that a custom tune can't be beat. I may be get both...but I'm saying the SCT is tune for general or the common tune right? So I don't see how a personal hand tuner is going to do the job of say a dyno and a technician. :shrug:

    I looked at my 04's exhaust and sure enough it looks like baffeling...i.e. it has an inner lip but when I looked for a screw there was none. *shrugs* Just the mounting bracket to the under side of the car. The tips look weilded to the exhaust....Am I missing somthing there? Anyhow the point...

    *nods* yes...most definately...unless you are a rocket scientist I'm not sure how ...with out a dyno you can get proper A/F mixtures for your particular cars setup. hmmmmmm Cobra goodness...the dish that is allways delicous.

    '05 M3 or '04 Cobra

    Crazy... The M3 is like 20K more then the Cobra...take half the difference and put it into the Cobra and you well absolutely LOVE the Cobra.... There is the question of maintence and cost as well...its VERY expensive to own a BMW. My family owns them and has for years...they are fantastic...

    I'm taking my girl in....and getting a truly custom tune at a performance shop. I owned a Preditor with my 99GT it's ok....but man a custom tune...dat b da *****e! sucks man hope you pulled the factory on your unit. So did you rent pulley puller or buy one.
