    It's an air to air intercooler I purchased off of ebay, a universal piping kit also from ebay, and some couplers from a local shop. I have less than $500 in that set up and it works very well, I was considering a vortech aftercooler but I couldnt see myself spending around $1500 on one.

    Need help finding a 347 crate engine...any suggestions

    The ford racing 450hp crate is real nice but is way to expensive now. My brother got it last year for $6100 the price now is like $8600. His 84gt ran 11.6's @119.xx with it the first time out.

    my brother bought the 347 450hp crate engine last year from our local ford dealer for $6100. The price for the same engine now is $8600 that is just sick.Its an awsome engine and his car went 11.66 @ 119 with it about a month ago but i cant see someone paying that amount for it now.

    Looks like there is going to be crate engines based on this boss block the highest horsepower one is a 331 with 500hp, the sad thing is that it looks like list price is going to be around $10,000.

    i dont believe the blower will work b/c they are reverse rotation, they mount the opposite way compared to foxbody's.

    Rick has also helped me out with my head gasket problems earlier this year and i bought a set of cometic head gaskets from him. He is probably the the most knowledgable guy I talked to and when it comes time for a new motor he will be my first choice.

    you can but you would have to make some changes to it. You would have to change the intake and distributor to efi ones.

    my brother has the 347 450hp crate motor. Awsome motor does exactly what they say for power and ran 11.6@119 in a 84 gt with a 750 carb. The car was scaled at 2900 without him in it. The sad thing is that ford raised the price of the engine to over $8000 my brother paid $6100 for it last year...
