    i had 148 on my old 98gt-and it saw 5500+ on a regular occasion for the 3 1/2 yrs i had it. still ran strong til the day i sold it. no probs at all.

    when you drive you automatically brace yourself for hard shifts and what not. when you ride shot gun its more unexpected, throwing you back into the seat. have someone drive you around in your car and nail it a few times...

    Tremec 3650 6 or 8 bolt flywheel

    according to the ford racing catalog...Romeo built engines have 6 bolts and Windsor built engines have 8 bolts. The 8th character in the VIN is (X) for Windsor engine plant, and (W) for Romeo engine plant. My 02 GT has X as the 8th char. in the VIN-as did my 98 aswell.

    OD off or on?

    O/D on while everday driving will cause it to go into 4th prematurely-putting more stress on the tranny. id keep it off until you get on the highways-better for the transmission that way.

    if its a regulator-its a bitch to do, and expensive. look into the 300 dollar range. rivets have to be drilled out, and rebolted.

    id venture to say that a production date of anything in april of year "X" would always be a model of that year, "X" and ps-that is an 01 cobra
