    yup firgured it out. the heads listing when i bought them never said anything about having to notch the pistons for clearance. they are basically set up like the older twisted wedge heads. so fyi they are aluminum heads sold on ebay supposed to be pro comp castings beware before you buy them.

    yeah I was also able to allow some more slack in that area by readjusting the cable connections and using a different bracket wear it mounts under the hood to the frame. the new cables was shorter than the original buy like an inch. that freed it up around the motor mount area.

    hey thanks for the lube recommendation that did it. all is well. I think these aftermarket cable makers should make that a part of the install procedure to oil the sleave for the cable. i swear nothing is plug and play anymore! anyway thanks again for the tips guys

    I would make the suggestion of installing a mild cam with those upgrades if money allows. since you'll have the engine pulled down to there already
