    I agree it's obvious you never went to a paint shop for a touch up. Ford has a thing called a paient on their paints and process. My buddy that owns a paint shop informed me you shouldn't try to match Ford paints. I think I'll trust the pros that do this for a living if you don't mind. :bs:

    I'd find another dealer now, if you did ever have an issue it's a lawyer and court time rather you win or lose. It's a big hassle to say the least. One solution is have a Ford dealership install the parts, it cost more but you don't have warranty issues. Dealers vary widely so hopefully...

    I for one would tell you to test drive it. It maybe the cars I've had in the past but I wasn't that impressed. It's improved but it needs more power or a good tune and running on high octane gas IMO. I'm waiting for the NA LE cars to come out in a few years. JMO

    Actually the Predator is one of the best tuners on the market because the dealer can't tell you had a performance tune. When you take it in for repairs just put your factory tune back in and save the custom tune in the Predator. :D

    The UPR Blu Thunder is as good as any shifter listed but much cheaper in price. I paid like $144 for it a little over a year ago and it's as good as the triax easy. :flag:

    I was so sure of my choice I brought another in May of 2004. Driven 2 new GT's now for several hours and I wouldn't trade. Now the Shelby maybe a whole new story. Both are great cars though, I just like the LE cars that aren't going to be everywhere. :nice:

    04 GT vs 05 GT

    Sounds like some of the 05 guys have no clue on what a 99-04 GT could run. It's true an auto is a mid to high 14s car and the 05 is faster but the 5 speeds with a decent driver is a low 14 sec car easy and a very good driver it's a high 13 sec car. :shrug:

    Those are good brands. You can take it to Ford and they'll detune it for you so it will run on 87 :rlaugh: Sounds like you may have lucked out and got a agressive tune to me, I'd use 89 and forget it. :rolleyes:

    I've seen a half a dozen GT's in and around Tulsa OK. In fact they've had them on the lot to test drive for over a month with no markup. :shrug:

    I hope your going for sound because that's all you'll get. This car already has a high flow 2 1/2 inch exhaust, one of the reasons they are putting out the HP they do. The Mach with a full exhaust is lucky to get 15-20RWHP and the GT will be FAR less if any. Spend your money on real HP mods...

    Listen guys theirs lots of Mach's, 05's, and fbodies that will be in the 14's but don't blame the car on it. Most blame the car and mod it to assist their poor driving. My advice is until you can get the car in the times it is capable of don't do any mods and you'll be way ahead of the game...

    Boy that seems strang "Us Guys" are life time buyers and I'll have this car in some form in the future, maybe not the GT. I just wanted to express my thoughts. Welcome to the Mustang family no matter what Gen car you buy it's an awesome car!

    Hey you've got a great car. I'm not trying to be a jerk just realistic since I've owned Mustangs since the 60's. We don't drag race every day and for a daily driver it's hard to beat :nice: IRS is better IMO but you can see what I purchased :D and I could have got either on both cars...
