    How much boost are you planning to run? 9.03 to 1 isn't to bad for boost if your running like 12-15 pounds of boost. There is not much to do but run a thicker head gasket or get some material milled out of your pistons

    If you are talking about the c6 zo6 than i am not suprised. The compression ratio from the factory is 11:1 so why would you put boost on it? http://turbomustangs.com/techarticles/stockblock.php will show you how much a hyper piston can really take.

    Alternators

    i did the 3g from a 94 GT and it was pretty simple and straight forward. Worst part is the clearanceing of the bracket. I may soon be stepping up to the 200 amp alternator soon though.

    I am not an expert, but with the carbs you are going to run the lower pressure as stated, but at lower pressure you are getting higher volume, so when using a high pressure pump you will be getting a lower volume which would not be enough to run a carb'd car.
