    Quick electric fan CFM question

I too have a big ass-rad, 3-core Ron Davis. Trust me, I'd like to see it fit, it just doesnt seem like its possible with my setup - hence the alternatives.

    Quick electric fan CFM question

That was what we were thinking. At the moment I have twin 3600 CFM fans (at least that was what is written on them) that were not keeping the car as cool as I'd like. The shroud was a big part of the problem though. Basically whomever built the setup used a flat piece of sheet metal that fixed...

P.A performance 3g wiring kit worth it?

My friend was debating with me about the purpose of a fuse between the alternator and the starter post. He is extremely knowledgeable about cars and simply couldn't understand what it was needed for. Anyone got any answers for me?

Who has a custom SCT chip?

For $400, I'd say do it. That's not bad at all for dyno time plus making sure your car run at its optimum.

P.A performance 3g wiring kit worth it?

No way. The only thing you really needs is 7-8 ft of 4 gauge power wire and the stock plug that gets relocated. Run you $10 at a supply store. From most of the posts I read, it seems you dont want to reconnect the old power lines anyway.

    Quick electric fan CFM question

Yep, went to the local LKQ and picked up two Taurus SHO fans and a Mark VIII fan in one trip. That Lincoln fan is never going to fit, my radiator is just way too big to accomodate it. I'm curious how much of the Taurus fan has to go? Is it simply a matter of trimming for space or does the...

anyone here want a second car?

Nothing makes your appreciate your 5.0 more than buying a daily driver. You don't have to worry about having your car up and running every day for work and whatnot. It becomes a toy, a very fast toy. I picked up my Volvo 850 turbo for 2 grand and its been the best speed part I've bought for my...

Parts store fan same as Ford OEM?

I'm looking into replacing my fans and I was just curious if the parts store fan for a SN94-95 would be as powerful as the ones put on the car by Ford? I'm just curious cuz I can get one from Autozone new for $66, but I want to be sure it puts out the same CFMs that junkyard OEM ones do.

    Quick electric fan CFM question

So far I am leaning towards an SN95 fan. I simply don't think I'll have the space for a MarkVIII. With a tape measure it only looks like I have about 4'' clearance between the radiator and the water pump.

    Quick electric fan CFM question

Hey all, Quick question. Did a couple of searches and found lots of recommendations and such, but I was hoping for some hard figures. I know the taurus, SN 94-95 and Mark VIII fans are all good, but what is the CFM rating of each? Is the SN and the Mark the same or close? Thanks alot!

Anyone have any mustang engine pics?

Quote from my PM response: "Thanks, do you know where the braided line runs from? Is it from the firewall to the trans bolts? I remember there being a ground on one of the rear lower intake bolts too? As far as the metal bar goes, I'm talking about a smaller one, not the smog one, any ideas?"

Anyone have any mustang engine pics?

Trying to put together my top end and could really use any pics or detailed info/website concerning the grounds and vacuum lines/sources on the back end of the upper intake area. Even if you just have a pic of that area on a stock stang, it'd make my life much easier. So far I have one braided...

    Cam installation difficulties

Also, even if my cam isn't degree'd exactly, if I have it in dot-to-dot, can I measure my pushrod length and it'll still be the accurate length when I do have the cam in degreed? Reason I ask is if that will work, I can measure for pushrods, then take the 45 minute one-way drive to buy the dial...

Is the harmonic balancer supposed to be this difficult to remove?

Big washer you say ehhhhh? Nuts, I dont think I pulled off any big washer.

Is the harmonic balancer supposed to be this difficult to remove?

Ok, I took the big bolt out of the center, I removed the four bolts and took off the pulley. Using the balancer removing tool from autozone, I put the bolts in to two of the holes to secure plate and then threaded that onto the big bolt that has a cap of sort on the end. Then, using an impact...
