I have brand new twisted wedge heads and new bbk long tubes that I'm installing. One of the header bolt threads on the head is stripped, it wont tighten more then hand tight. They are brand new so it wasn't me... :rolleyes: Is there a way I can tap the threads and get a larger thread size bolt...
Yea, this sucks, I'm about an hours worth of work away from starting the car up yet I can't drive it. I guess I'll have to pound the header in a bit and see where that gets me. Thanks for the help guys.

I bought a set of bbk long tubes from summit. They went in with no problem but while I was doing the swap I saw my motor mounts were shat so I just installed poly's. Now everything is back in and the engine is level so I go to install the steering shaft-I'd have to dent the header tube in about...
+1...I've done plenty of head jobs on the 3.8's. They just love blowin head gaskets. I may get flamed for this but tell her to look around for a toyota or honda. They are uber reliable and fairly cheap for a later model one. My sister and brother-in-law have a 96 camry with the 4 banger-may not...
