    yes. GT & LX assembly's are identical. you might want to get the skinny on the cobra housings. i would assume that they would be the same, but you never know.

    like that? thats exactly what i did. my mustang only has 32,000 miles. and i took the cluster out of a donor car i had for a project. screwed it in using some screws. got it set up the way i want it. and it was done. you can get a cluster housing pretty cheap at a boneyard.

    just like RBRANDX says... grab almost everything. if you can't use it. a lot of guys on here will still buy the stuff off of you. a lot of that stuff will work though.

    My father had one of the first 05 GT's off the line. The only thing I can reccomend is taking it to your dealer. My father had to bring it in twice. He told them to replace the entire dash and thats what they ended up doing. Good luck with your issue.

    I worked in Appleton for a while. We talked to some higher ups at the time. They said if your car didnt originally come with a setup for it. Then you didnt have to run it. Such as my dads Cobra kit car, that would be a no go ;)
