    Borla VS Magnaflow

    Exhaust Question (is it possible)

    Yes you can do that, I did it with my magnacrap uh magnapack catback. I hated the sound and the drone. Just take it to a muffler shop that does good work and they can do it. My Borla XR-1's are center in/out but a good exhaust shop should be able to change them out for you. :nice:

    magnaflow x pipes w/c borla cat-back exhaust

    I have that exhaust set up and I love it. I have the XR-1 mufflers instead of the regular Borla mufflers, so mine is a little on the loud side. Well actually it is very loud but you can control the volume, I had magnapack cat back before the XR-1's and the packs don't even come close!!!

    Borla or Magnaflow?

    I had the magnaflow pacs on my car with factory h and the magnaflow x-pipe. I sounded ok but too much drone and the tone never changed from 1,000 rpm to 6000 rpms. I replaced the pac's with Borla XR-1's and I love them. Borla rocks!!!! No drone on the freeway and sorry to say to all you pac fans...

    I got them for christmas but my buddy told me his were $150 a muffler from summitt racing, I have saw them on various sites though for around 110 to 125 a muffler. Yes they welded right in just have someone that knows how to weld do it. The XR-1's that I have are the 12 inch sportsman muffler...

    I had the packs but I just didn't care for the sound. The tone never seemed to change from 1,500 rpm to 6,000 rpm the volume just got louder.
