    Removing Driveshaft for Towing?!

Remove the driveshaft would be my suggestion. Even though its a manual, you are still spinning the output shaft and with the car not being level, the fluid will be sitting at the back rear. Just drain the fluid, to fill just pop the shifter off and fill from the top. Cover the tail end of the...

19lb injectors enough for this setup...?

most aftermarket MAFs will enscribe what they are calibrated for. If you have the stock one it is 19s though. Kevin

19lb injectors enough for this setup...?

You are probably just within the limits of the 19 lbs injectors. To cheat you can bump the fuel pressure up just a tad to be on the safe side. Kevin

    a diffferent smog pump Q

Smog pumps tend to lock up if they aren't used. If you bypassed the system, cap all the hoses including the one that comes off the H pipe. You can just use a couple inches of hose and a large bolt w/band clamp to do so. Kevin

    Suspension Swap 1990 to 1999 & Later

You will be best off using 94-98 axles and spindles. The 99+ rear axle is 3 inches wider than the fox so you will run into some clearance isues. I am going through this right now since I swapped a cobra IRS in the rear and using some 2k GT wheels(8inches wide) I may have to roll the fender. You...

    cobra IRS in fox swap

Thank you for the info bstrd86. 245 width is a bit small IMO. Kevin

    cobra IRS in fox swap

Nice fat wheels would be nice but I don't know if 10 inches will fit. Once you get the IRS mounted up, you will notice that the bolt that holds the rear IRS cradle to the bracket sticks out a bit and might interfere with the tire itself. I havn't measured the difference on mine yet but I don't...

what kind of +HP are you looking at with a gt40 manifold?

The stock intake is the biggest bottleneck for the stock motor followed by the heads. You will probably get 10-15 rwhp with just the intake but you really won't see the benifits till you get rid of the stock heads. Kevin

    new intake, new injectors?

You will be fine with 30s. Just keep them and save some money. Kevin

    new rear gear advice

Stick with 3.55 or 3.73 for a 5 speed. For an auto I would have said 3.73 or 4.10. 3.55 will give you good performance around the street and won't kill you on the freeway. 3.73s will make your first and second gear really short which some like. They will make up how long 3rd is but again it is...

    cobra IRS in fox swap

Unfortunately wheel spacers go the wrong way. The IRS is about 3 inches wider than the fox axle... Sorry I wasn't clear before. The clearance issue is with the body of the car not the wheel well. Kevin

    cobra IRS in fox swap

Got any part #'s on the double flare T or bubble flare? The front driver's side Cobra brake line needed a 7828 weatherhead fitting to mate to the softline. Are there any of those issues with the rear '03 lines not mating up with the hardlines? This is the fitting you need. Smith Fastener...

    cobra IRS in fox swap

I sure hope it is worthwhile. I havn't heard anything but great praise about the swap so we will see. I just got the manual ebrake adjuster and I have to do the mod to the brake handle. From there I gotta replace my whole front suspension so it will be a little while. With xmas coming up, I...

    cobra IRS in fox swap

Txstang347 Thank you for the kind words. 1. What couplers/fittings did you use to connect the IRS softlines to the Fox hard brake lines? I still havn't gotten the car on the road yet... been broke and havn't found much time lately but to answer your question, I cut the stock hardline right...

    FMX transmission in a fox?

They aren't bad... just not ideal. They weight a fair ammount and larger than the C4. I am not sure how the crossmember would line up and if your exhaust will fit correctly in a fox... Kevin

    Electric fan options

Stay away from the black magic... in the 5.0 forums they are deemed the black tragic. The Taurus 3.8 fan with a dc controler would be ideal. As for an alt, Go with a 3g setup. Kevin

    C6 Tranny ?s

A built c4 will be a better choice than a c6 IMO. C6 is really heavy and drivetrain loss is much more. No doubt the c6 has more potential to handle more power but with all the built c4s these days, not really necessary. Kevin

    FUEL PUMPS??

You really can't have too big of a pump because you have a return line. Whatever the motor doesn't use, goes back to the tank. With that said you will be cycling a lot of fuel and will probably need an aftermarkt FPR anyways. Moving that much fuel will heat it up some which is a consideration...
