    How much would you pay

I'm a bit surprised at the $1k responses, seems to me a nice and straight coupe (or hatch for that matter) with good paint, interior, and suspension setup less an engine and trans would be worth more than $1k but that's just me.

    Douchebags that want to race

I would have stalled it in 1st taking off then pretended like I just broke something in the driveline.

    What Wheels?????

Nice snag on the chrome Mach1's, are those AFS wheels?

Like I said, I look forward to seeing the project unfold. I don't think I personally was slinging bs offering my opinion, nor did I say I thought it wouldn't turn out nice before you've even started. I do understand your reaction to all the criticism now so I will gladly take the cookie cutter...

Should I buy back my old car?

Knowing that you like the automatic, now the blue car would be a far distant memory if it were me.

I respect all of that but I do notice a hint of "talking down" to the people on this site that like to modify boring/belly button fox mustangs without drastically altering their appearance drastically to make them "more unique". I do look forward to seeing how the Zephyr turns out though, good luck.

    Ugly as sin!

    Absolutely putrid!

Absolutely entitled to your opinion of course, however I would take ANY year El Camino over a Futura/Z7. I can't say the same for ANY Ranchero because they were pretty damn ugly outside of the 60's. I'm not sure really what you're trying to get at with the "pretend I never built the red car"...

Should I buy back my old car?

White Notch looks ten times better, I see it's an automatic which blows but forget your old car and do a trans swap in the white one.

This was a factory vehicle or no?! It looks way better as a ranchero than it does a 2 door sports coupe!

    Progress Thread First Fox (Fairmont)

Love it, best looking fairmont body style hands down IMO.

Looks clean, no matter how I look at it though I can't get past the odd look of the rear side window/rear window setup. It reminds me of a subaru brat if you removed that rear window section.

Your car dirty as hell rivals mine in its current state on its very best day! Looks great man.

    Pushrod Vs. modular

In stock or mildly modified form I don't think any of the engine combos you've listed are a concern with regards to daily driving reliability. Personally I'd go with a 99-04 based on exterior looks.

Exhaust Choices for a 87 GT, Prefer Not to go Flowmaster

I think a big part of it is the dumps, this car would sound far better with tailpipes IMO.

    ReefBlueHatch's Progress Thread

It never fails, whenever I feel bored or unmotivated with my car I end up seeing an update to this thread that reinvigorates me! Looks great as always.

Exhaust Choices for a 87 GT, Prefer Not to go Flowmaster

I've been using Spintech's for nearly 10 years and I have always ordered them direct. The do appear to make catback systems for fox mustangs: http://www.spintechmufflers.com/ford/mustang/mustang-cat-backs/cat_127.html

Toying with an idea, need someone to tell me I'm cra-cra.

That's a cool list, it's crazy/neat to hear of all the ringers manufacturers supplied to publications looking to test the cars performance.
