    the torque plate hone is to check for trueness of the bore i think like straight up and down not for cross hatching.

    40 psi at idle?

    ok then maybe im excessive with 80 on start up and 60 at idle and back to 80 at over 2000 rpms and im supposed to have a stock pump well maybe high volume but not high pressure i msure of that. yeah 7 for chevy seems right i know a lot of sb chevys that run 7 at idle and i worry for them.

    the heads have wf for windsor foundry where they were made i guess cast in to the heads on top. i really think all windsors were made in windsor but what thats what mustang and fords said. they also said short of hipo heads they are the best factory heads to go to for early models that dont convert.

    i would definitly have to agree i have realitivly the same heads one my car plus 196/160 valves and holy crap the car runs.

    Mustang II conversion

    well the down fall of the II front end ive heard is the fact that the weight now sits on the fram instead of at the shock towers like the car was designed for. im not saying dont do it just something to wrap ur mind around for awhile.

    can 91 heads off a 302 fit on my 289?

    also poush rods will be an issuse unless u go with roller rockers. the diffrence being how the rocker mounts to the head 91 being pedistol mount and the 289 being shaft mount. or visa versa ot real sure on technical terms.

    how to identify 351w as opposed to a 302 or 289?

    one intake is like a 11 inches and one is 13 inches across or mybe 13 and 15 something like that.

    68 mustang shock towers w/ 428

    ive heard that the shock towers have to be move out an inch to fit the monster in the also. like the manifolds wont clear and as far as heards i dont know if they will even go at all.

    arm rest

    anyone looking to get rid of a becnh or just the arm rest let me know. all i need is the arm rest cuz when i got mine it didnt have one the kid took it out to put seat belts through the holes.

    Thinking of going turbo on a stroker motor...

    with the right block u can stroke a 351 to a 454, or so ive heard bvut those blocks cost a lot of money but also on the up side the are aluminum so they are lighter.
