    347-will this work for a while?

    i have a 347 shortblock, but don't have cash for heads or s/c. its 8:5:1 compression. how good/bad will this perform on street with ported gt-40 and cobra upper/lower intake? its for sale also, but just don't have cash to build it right. its a chp pro-dominator kit.

    Cam install-advance or retard cam?

    this is for my 93 cobra which is stock except exhaust. I want to put an e-cam. would advancing or retarding the cam make more hp? if so, which and where in the rpm range? this is just a weekend toy.

    no. you should get tb and mass air meter and forget the cold air kit. unless you go the the anderson power pipe which puts the mass air meter in the fender well. I have both for sale. maf and power pipe.
