    ODB1 or ODB2

i guess i'm going against the grain. i'd go with OBDII. more programming options (98 and up, 96-97 comps suck), diagnostics i feel are easier, there are a number of people running 5.0s with DIS or COP. a person on this forum or allfordmustangs makes brackets for DIS and COP. you can pull...

    Trouble codes 311 & 314?

actually the comp reads the O2 sensors to see if the AIR is working. those codes are set when the computer does not see full lean conditions(on O2 sensors) when testing the AIR [note: you have seperate codes for left and right banks, the solenoid only sends vacuum to AIR-D(for direction to cats...

i've been running a Meziere (WP373) water pump on my 94 GT for 2 years, 180* T-Stat, Stock radiator, 50/50 coolant mix in Phoenix, AZ. i do not have any overheat problems. if you run a Meziere w/ idler WP373 (94-95) or WP312 (pre 94) you have a bypass just like your stock water pump.

    catalytic converters

though the OBDII cars have O2 sensors behind the cats, they are there to check the efficiency of the Cats. the front O2s are used by the computer to help regulate A/F mix. a 2-way cat - reduces HC and CO, normally uses platinum or platinum alone. a 3-way cat (TWC) - reduces HC, CO, and...
