do you have an external voltage regulator??
if so, let the parts store know this, the 3-wire is with the internal regulator.
have you had the alt and the regulator tested yet??
did the codes not clear or was the 113 code not fixed?? disconnecting the battery will erase a 113 as well as the KAM.
to clear just the KOEO (continuous) codes when using the 'blinking' method. disconnect the jumper during the test. the hard codes are suppose to clear after completing the...
my friend said that some dealers will order different trim and such so they can sell it as "limited" but he hasn't heard of any coming from the factory for general sales with you paint scheme.
my dash is 2-tone but i haven't taken notice of others.
figured but i was hoping that it showed a special order. you might run the VIN and see.
i'll ask my buddy tomorrow about the checker flag scheme. see if he's heard of it. he's been with ford for a long time.
the VIN will just say if the car came with a 5.0L or a 2.3L, not the year of the engine that someone may have changed it to.
he could also check the code on the block but that won't be definitive either.
sicstang: if the TFI module in on the distributor then you probably have th 87 wiring...
as white 89 gt eluded to...have you tried tuning the carb??
different vacuum springs and jets. a properly tuned 650cfm is plenty for a 306 unless you're spinning over 7,000 rpms. you can run up to a 350cid engine to 6000 rpms with a properly tuned 650cfm carb. and a tune kit costs less...
it needs to be from a ported vacuum port. (vacuum increases as you accelerate) it's generally on the base. depending on the carb there is a large manifold vacuum port for the brake booster and/or PCV system(holley is under the fuel bowl) then a small ported vacuum source on the side (holley is...
the lights (dome, glove box, etc) are on fuse #8 15Amp.
fuse #8 is also the radio memory. fuse #11 15Amp is the radio power. atleast that's how the factory wired it :)
yeah, that looks like it.
ford says to remove the Hydrolic Control Unit (HCU), then remove the control module from the HCU by removing 6 screws.
you'll naturally need to bleed the brakes afterwards.
weird...for 98 i show a single digit axle code. for a 99 i show a two digit code ME for 1999 is a 3.27 traction lok.
what's the 10th digit of the VIN?? W=98 X=99
i've never heard of tru-trak so i couldn't say either way. i run a torsen carrier.
i like the 3.73's in my car. i had...
you're correct...3L27 = 3.27 traction lok
i would need the year of your car to check the code from the door.
you may want to ask about that switch...some people they don't feel much difference going from 327 to 373.
