    the tube connecting to the valve cover needs to go to a NON vacuum source, such as between the MAF and Throttle Body. that provides fresh metered air so the PCV valve will work properly. that hose and the PCV valve make up the PCV system.

    i believe they are the same. i have 2 that i use for testing (one has a bad cooling fan relay the other a bad A/C compressor relay) and i've interchanged them on multiple ford vehicles. when you get the new one ask the partsman to make sure it is interchangible with the v8.

    if you mean the A/F mixture screws, gently seat them, then back them out 3 turns, start car and let warm up. while idling, screw in each 1/4 turn and check for idle speed drop, once a drop is detected backout each screw 1/8 turn. make sure you screw them in and out evenly

    most tubular kmembers have 2 sets of holes for the engine mounts one set is normal position and the second is about an inch or so back. make sure you have the engine in the forward set of holes
