    He always talked about how much he disliked it, I was always kind of hoping he was just talk though lol He grew up in a desert up here so I can see why the rain bugged him so much. Sure it gets annoying in the winter but I've lived here my whole life so :shrug: I miss him, he's a good friend.

    Sorry I wasn't able to get back to you sooner. When I was boring it out, I just kept it even to maintain the shape to not round it out too much. Turns out I did remove the horn contacts as well. Mine sits back about a half inch further than yours it looks like based on where your column cover is.

    If banging gears in an H pattern and using a clutch doesn't get your rocks off then go for it man. As for me, I love spirited back road driving with a manual transmission.

    Obviously it's a bit time consuming to do all the trimming and filing but it's worth it. Glue it on the inside like in the picture, and the outside as well, then you can file and sand it all down to look like it came that way from the factory.

    You mean on the column cover? I bonded some acrylic to the face of the two halves, then did some filing and trimming and re-painting.
