Austin's Pro Max in Tacoma (2 locations there) did my Global West's for $140 out the door. Everyone else wants about 200-350. Note to self ... put down the remote and go buy a welder :nonono:

TFS twisted wedge V AFR 165 heads

:uzi: NOOOOOOO! .. the TW, AFR debate ... AHHHHHHHHH! I'm sure the new CNC option on the TW will make a good head capable of flowing even better ... but what use would lazy air be on a daily driven 302  The Wedges aren't bad ... either are the AFR's ... they are both great heads...

What is it that makes a cars day good or bad?

Imagine Florida ... you hafta wait 'til 3 in the morning to enjoy your car .... or a hurricane :)

TFS twisted wedge V AFR 165 heads

IF the TW's were such a superior head, then Trick Flow would be able to sell them for an equivalent price to the AFR165's. Yes, the AFR's cost what they do from the additional labor/supplies etc from CNC work, but it is also because they are an awesome head. They are completely comfortable...

What is it that makes a cars day good or bad?

I don't know, I've felt the same things. I don't know why, but the 4 Stangs I've owned ran better when I pounded on them  When I baby them, they just run good. It's weird, but seems true. Like the Stang that was stolen felt like it ran better after I got it back

TFS twisted wedge V AFR 165 heads

The only issue I have with these charts is incrementation. For example, it only jumps 2 cfm points on the intake from .500" - .600" lift ..... but what if it was at the max 245cfm at .525? That tight breakdown is not listed here. Sure 25 thousandths incrementation is less common then 50...

TFS twisted wedge V AFR 165 heads

That's what the issue is ... cam timing. With the F cam go AFR. But you wouldn't be disappointed with TF's either.

This is the video file link that is usually operable ... it's a sticky under 5.0 Talk section: http://forums.stangnet.com/showthread.php?t=541669&page=1&pp=25 The original poster said he should have the files up again real soon. Sorry, best I can do, so check back ... they have a TF Stg1...

What Heads are the best for street? TFS TW, GT40 etc?

I suggest AFR's 165 stud with 58cc combustion chambers and upgraded valve springs. The single pattern cam will work more efficiently with them than the 185 due to flow relationship between ports. The 185's work better with a split-pattern cam as they are intake biased. If you do go 185's (vs...

wich bars are best fo 60ft

For straight line performance I would go with the lak-21900 ... although if the car is driven on the street and you like cornering as well I would get the Granatelli's with the spherical rod end. Of course putting usable power to the ground and accerating outta the box is a bigger issue than...

    I need a good powersteering pump...suggestions?

It really is hit and miss with these things unfortunately :( They are all reman'd now, so buying new is out of the question. It all depends on whether they machine the internals properly ... sometimes the factory worker will just eyeball and proceed with replacing parts so when you install...

What intake will best complete my combo?

Like stated above .. the chassis/wheels are holding you back on 12's, as well as a nice port on that GT40. The RPMII is not going to help him down low at all and the 266 will shut down before it uses any of the top end this intake can supply ... that intake is really made for revvers and...

No fuel psi at key on

"New" just means no body owned them before you, a shelved part can still be bad. Why did you replace all of this and/or did you replace all of this to solve this problem and/or and/or?

    What clutch???

I've had CF-df, Spec II, KC and out of the three I like the CF best. The Cobra had too much heavy pedal for my likes, but was cheap and grabbed well on my 12 second ride. The Spec just felt good, no complaints. The CF has a factory pedal effort and that is the reason I liked it ...
