    MagnaFlows with H?

I've found that to be the case more often than not with any aftermarket pieces ... sometimes you just get a bad piece when the jig-man is a dunce:notnice: I think the flexability of the UPR piece is the way to go when these pieces are made one-size-fits-all:nonono: I agree about the H...

    MagnaFlows with H?

For an '89 5sp Coupe: In my liberal state of Washington, emission equip is required on this car for another 9 years. (Not too liberal, but go figure:rolleyes: ) I'm curious if anyone has run the MagnaFlow catback behind a hi-flow cat'd H? I've heard the sound of a catback behind their...

no throaty sound with new 40 series flows

All mufflers "break" in after use ... even the factory mufflers. Carbon build up adds pressure ... exhaust volume becomes more concentrated or channeled in a muffler. MAC mufflers are conciderably smaller (volume) than a factory piece. The alloy used as well as the size creates the...

    good 347 stroker short block

First off, please don't mistake me for some 18 yo kid with his first set of keys. A lot of what you said is true ... but How can you tell a salesman is lying ..... when his mouth is moving :rlaugh: Ya, I know that's old. You sell for Scat right? .... Does Scat make a 5.3 rod? What...

Either that or he's been usin' :nice: Just because the fiberglass in his meth works wonders ... doesn't mean it will great for his euro fox :nonono:

    good 347 stroker short block

As an engine builder I say to you :nono: It's not an internet myth ... the 5.4" consumes more oil. There are a number of advantages to the 5.3" .. not only designed for p/a cars :nonono: Assembling an engine incorrectly is poor workmanship regardless of rod length. If you are saying...

    good 347 stroker short block

Wait a minute ... we all know this debate has been pounded to death, but I have to ask you. Are you in essence saying that Probe, DSS and others only went through the designing, tooling and manufacture of the 5.315 rod for no legitimate reason??? Do you feel it is based solely on some...

Thoughts on the FRPP King Cobra clutch?

Thoughts on the KC clutch ... :notnice: ... pedal is too stiff for my liking. Even just pushing it in once drove me nuts. Not that I would never buy one ... but money would be the only factor ... I mean a lack there of.

    good 347 stroker short block

I suggest going with a 347 assembly that has the slightly shorter 5.315" rods (vs. 5.400") ... You will eliminate the oil control ring and wrist pin bore intersecting each other this way. Plus the compression height of the piston will be a little taller ... more meat on the top of the piston...

    best subframe connectors?

When I did my GW's I considered weight as well. Upon reading I heard the MM's are quite heavy for a subframe. Mine are quite light (?10lb ea w/ seat bracket?) and the car's belly doesn't flex at all (well at least not noticeable by any means) Burned carpet was not even a...
