    You can use the tranny out of the v6.. its a t-5. YOu may wanna make sure the input shaft is the same. I think it is but i wouldnt swear to it. If you have a mustang junkyard around there get them to price you a changeover. Thats what i did. 650$ for everything. I think i came out on that...

    You shoudl be able to turn a naturally aspirated 331 6500... it being blown with cheap internals i dont know. If its an all over paint job and you want it slick your not gonna get it for 1000$. Probably more than double that, just depends on how good of a job you want

    I have the same problem with the idle be erratic and jumping up between gears. My car has set for about six months and after that it has this problem. Im thinkin IAC. Im gonna try to clean it later. Any ideas? Thanks

    Are you sure on that? I put the cobra on there and it ran awful.. no power at all. I put my stock one back on it and it was a world of difference. Has to be a difference there???

    Well, weight makes a big difference breaking parts. His car weighs 3200 with driver. So its not too heavy. Im sure that helps.. It only done it about twice and it broke. But it gradually got that fast.. run a 11's all the time and low 11's a bunch'a times. Then he upped the nitrous jets...

    I would too. motor and tranny and stuff are easy to come by. But for the price, i dont think it would be a bad deal even if it needed some body work. Thats the problem with older mustangs, they are always trashed on the outside.. rubber gets droopy and stuff... i hate that

    I know you dont powershift paul. When done correctly it does help..., You probably shift fast though. It takes some people forever to shift. I hear it at the track all the time. Makes a big difference when they drive like that
