    Yeah, the 8.8's will work up til 99 and they went with a wider rear then. It may work too though.. not sure on that. Are you gonna change it over to 5 lug?

    Are you sure its fuel pressure? Did you put a guage on it? If all you done was a motor swap and it was fine before it dont make a lotta sense.

    I've never done it, but i wouldnt be afraid to do it. If you have some common sense about automotive stuff then you should be able to handle it. I think its riveted on and you have to drill the rivet and replace it with a screw. I'll give you bump anyways

    NEED alternator help BAD ASAP

    Some people just rig up whatever man, Im not sure if the polarity on those wires matters or not. If that plug is unpluged it will kill the alternator. Not burn it up but make it where it wont charge with them unpluged. I think those wires just act as a jumper. I can't be sure on that though.

    What to get rid of? This is a street car. I was just thinkin of a way to make it a little quicker at the track.... always trying to think of stuff. I'm not losing my power steering and most electric water pumps dont have the hookup for the heaterhoses.

    I dont have a smog pump and bypassing the a/c wont help anything as it has a clutch on it the allows it to freewheel (no drag). Thanks for your input Black70Fastback. The last thing im worried about is frying a computer. I dont know how much it'll help but it can't hurt. The real drag cars...

    Why would unpluging the alternator hurt anything? Ever had one go bad? I've yet to see someone need a computer because there alternator went bad. Thanks for you opinion though.

    I was just thinking about putting a switch on one of the wires on the little plug. That would cut the alt off and there would be no load on it. Hope this helps a little

    Do you think your battery wont run your car for a 1/4 mile? You can run the 1/4 with a waterpump, without an alternator. If your battery goes dead that fast you need to be looking for a new battery
