    Decided against a blacked out hood and reversed the stencil to get some black stripes on the hood. The car is in the process of being color sanded an buffed. Just some small parts to paint. I hope to have it back in a couple of weeks.

    These after market units cool as well if not better than the 45 year old OEM units. My reason for the upgrade is this. I need a new compressor, evaporator, receiver dryer, and condenser. In addition to a new blower motor. I am also looking forward to electronic controls and no more vacume leaks...

    Iam am considering updating the factory air in my 69 Mustang. I am looking at the Vintage and Classic system. Does anyone have any experience with either that could make a recommendation.

    Thanks for the advice. I was able to obtain a replacement part from another forum member; however I have been researching Vintage Air systems and I think I am going that route. A new compressor, and plenum and electric controls.
