    My check engine light came on and I am getting codes (23 and 31) and I was wondering what they were and how to fix them. My car is a cali car so it has the factory mass air flow if that makes a difference. Thanks everyone.

    Put those lines in last week, the only problem I had was with the rear one and had to bypass the holder and mount the line else where.

    I have the chance to buy a rebuilt rear end (whole assembly from drum to drum) for 300, the gears are 3.73. I was reading that 4.10 are the best for the AOD so I was wondering if I should wait til there is a 4.10 rear end for sale or pay the 500-600 for rebuild and parts for the one I have or...

    fan clutch is only 6 months old but will check it. Normally drive on the freeway so it would never go about 200. Just started going above that when the heads were changed out. So an electric fan is not needed

    When my car sits in traffic, drive thru window, and long lights the engine temp goes to 270 and stays there for awhile. I was wondering if this is normal with the setup that I have and if so I guess I will have to install an electric fan.

    Powerband range?

    I was wondering if there is a way to calculate where the powerband is going to be. Before all the mods to my engine it was around 2500 then it moved up to 4500. I was going to put 4.10's on along with a shift kit and was wondering where the powerband would be moved to.

    The backfire was only under WOT and it has gone away and it is only jerky under 1500 rpm, it sounds like that is normal from what you said. i will check the fuel pressure to be sure along with timing marks. Thanks for the help.

    i changed out the MAF with a known good one and it didnt help. I was wondering if the stall converter would cause it to do it didnt before but after changing the top end of the engine it might.
